Inspirations in living well

The “Gold Paintings” are a response to an article that I read about monochromatic paintings in X-TRA Contemporary Art Quarterly. It spoke of the “dwindling” of monochromatic painting and the possibility of its recent resurgence. I felt that it was quite possible that monochromatic painting disappeared because there is only so much room there in which to maneuver. I then took this as a personal challenge to find something interesting there for myself. This and “Grade BB Gold Painting” are the beginnings of a series. More in the future.
